Parquetry is a beautiful thing until something goes wrong… It’s critical to have the right knowledge and skills to repair existing parquetry floors that have suffered from washing machine and dishwasher leaks – or general water or storm damage. Having the right sort of skills to repair this is a dying art. Renaissance Parquet can provide custom flooring to match and re-sand and finish or in some circumstances fully replace flooring with like replacements.
Floor Inspection Services
Renaissance Parquet offers a thorough and high attention to detail floor inspection services pre and post installation. We are able to attend your installation and assist with identifying problems and providing solutions. We also can prepare reports if required for VCAT to assist with any litigation. Renaissance Parquet has had many years of manufacturing, installation, and finishing experience of parquetry and timber flooring.
Stairs cladding
Matching floors with timber stairs is a specialty of ours at Renaissance Parquet. By hand coasting all of our timber in the factory, we have the ability to harmonize your floors with stairs. We work from staircase templates provided by either builder or stair maker and we clad risers and treads on top of the structural element.

The founding concept of our floors came from the old parquet found in Chateaux and old country houses in France. It took research into the ancient methods of fashioning and maintaining old floors, coupled with the technology of today to recreate the style.
