A traditional design makes a bold statement to bring any room to life, adding both interest and depth.

Renaissance Parquet Herringbone flooring comprises of wood planks cut into perfect rectangles. It is then angled at 45 degrees so the end of one plank meets the side of another.

– Herringbone, in contrast to Chevron, is always cut as a 90 degrees square.

– Herringbone’s most common size is 90/105mm long and length of  720/630mm respectively.

The patterns work on a multiple of length to width ratio. We find that the 6 or 7 times width to length is a perfect proportion. The 90mm will appear more elegant and refined while the 150mm is more contemporary look.

The parquetry is made in Australia at our own purpose built factory in Highett Melbourne. The oak is imported direct from France, but we also manufacture from recycled, Tasmanian Oak, Jarrah, Blackbutt and any other specias.

We offer a square block to be installed raw, or Tongue and groove parquetry in both bevel or unbevel with the option or refinished using UV cured Oils from Europe. The grading option include select through to rustic depending on the look or budget the Client is seeking.

Our processing of the parquetry allows it to be installed on heated concrete as well as in humid places like Hong Kong or Singapore. We have supplied and installed flooring to Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Auckland, Christchurch and Seoul with no issues of stability.
