Chevron Flooring – A directional pattern that gives a room the appearance of space while adding dimension, dynamism, and elegance with its geometric design.
Renaissance Parquet Chevron flooring consists of wood planks that are cut on a 35-degree angle and positioned in a V-shaped zigzag pattern and aligned for a perfectly straight axis, revealing the natural beauty of the wood.
Chevron is commonly seen as a 45-degree angle. We prefer the traditional look of 30-35 degrees. This will make the rows a little wider than the 45-degree angle. The difference in the angle also affects the light/dark appearance of the rows.
For most Chevron Flooring patterns we produce a 35-degree angle in a 720x90mm creating a more classical look. Chevron Flooring has been one of the most popular parquet flooring pattern over the years, because of its symmetrical and elegant finish.
The Chevron Parquetry Flooring is made in Australia at our own purpose built factory in Highett, Melbourne. The oak timber is imported direct from France, but we also manufacture from recycled, Tasmanian Oak, Jarrah, Blackbutt and any other species.
We offer a square block to be installed raw, or Tongue and groove parquetry in both bevel or unbevel with the option or refinished using UV cured Oils from Europe. The grading option include select through to rustic depending on the look or budget the Client is seeking.
Our processing of the Chevron Flooring allows it to be installed on heated concrete as well as in humid places like Hong Kong or Singapore. We have supplied and installed flooring to Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Auckland, Christchurch and Seoul with no issues of stability.
