In this week’s challenge the girls did a great job with the hallway!
When Bianca and Carla were planning this space they also knew that the hallway flooring is the first thing guests will notice when they arrive, so it was the perfect place to make a great first impression with our Renaissance Parquet herringbone floor!
Knowing that hallways are the most important transitional spaces within any home, its design and decoration guidelines work perfectly with the other rooms that lead off it, complementing it with a floor which is hardwearing, easy to clean and maintain and that could stand the test of time, no matter how many times you change the décor.
This hallway tile is an extension of the tiling used in the kitchen/dining area. Looking for an alternative to give a consistent feel to the flooring and make the area feel larger, the girls selected a beautiful parquet herringbone pattern which is perfect for fooling the eye into seeing never-ending depth, while still keeping a traditional, warm and homely feel to the overall look.
This hallway was definitely well produced with a combination of clean and stylish elements to add focal points of interest to make it a more dynamic part of the home to be in and to connect it harmoniously with the other areas in the penthouse.
We’re really happy with Bianca and Carla’s job this week and can’t wait to see more next week!
Well done girls!
