French Oak Herringbone Flooring – Drake House renovation by Austin Design. Renaissance Parquet Melbourne

With the install of a slightly limed pale French oak parquetry flooring, Renaissance Parquet was part of the suppliers for the Drake House renovation, a 1990’s Neo-Spanish house, by Austin Design.

This amazing and well-proportioned structure was transformed into an elegant town house inspired by an excellent brief and taste from the clients of Austin Design.

The existing dark parquetry flooring was replaced with a Renaissance Parquet Solid French Oak Herringbone made in Melbourne as 720x90x21mm tongue and groove solid parquet.

The dynamic and elegant herringbone pattern was installed in the entrance, hallway, study, kitchen, dining and living areas of the house as the most durable and elegant option with a plethora of artistic design, such an intricate pattern that thrives on being spread out.

Perfectly complementing the abundance of natural light created by the architects with the addition of extra windows and enlarging existing windows, with the luxurious floor finish to create the feeling of space and light whilst always maintaining sophistication and subtlety in the style.

The Drake house is definitely perfection translated into space!
